When I’ve experienced having a neck pain upon waking up abruptly, thinking of not having turning my alarm clock actively set to be ready for an early appointment. I can’t helped but sighed by rubbing the pained area to relieve myself of the excruciating pain, when it didn’t work, I’ve drank an acetaminophen medicine as a pain reliever.
When it started to function, it really helped alleviate the indescribable pain. Though admittedly it is quite uncomfortable having it, for once the medications efficacy subsidizes recurrence of it is inevitable. Neck pain can be either cause by too much worry or stress related factors .Or strenuous activity at work like a long time sitting position while typing on your keyboard, lifting heavy item may cause muscular strain, sleeping posture or other prolonged posture. Waking up on the wrong side of the bed? We often conclude it that way especially
if we suffer all day from neck pain. It could somehow be the result of falling asleep in an uncomfortable position, using a prolong position like sitting that is part of your job such as typing a keyboard of your computer, driving all day, even just simply reading a book or any other related activities that trigger stiffness in the muscles relatively in the neck area .Also stress is likely related to causing it. When I get so tired, all I have to do to recover is to sleep. Even just a power nap could rejuvenate my super tired brain and muscles. That is why I really look forward to getting my most beloved sleep after a really long day or after I work so hard. This is because I believe that sleep is the reward that I could get daily, for free, without having to pay for anything except when you want a very relaxing massage to go with it, after working so hard. It is not like shopping, where you would have to walk all day looking for the best shoes, the best dresses and the best accessories. It is also not like shopping, where you could potentially spend your month’s allowance or salary just to be able to relax and enjoy. Although I must admit that sleep and shopping has the same relaxing and rejuvenating effect on the body. Read the rest of this entry »

Generally, when people experience the acute lower-back spasms, the very last thing they want to do is do some exercise to alleviate the pain. The most usual response is to take it very easy and avoid much any physical activity. Yet, after a couple of days in rest, this kind of procedure may actually delay some healing process and be prolonging the lower-back spasms. Nevertheless, gradual and the controlled active back exercises will executed properly may alleviate the discomfort and may realign the spine.
Before you try to attempt any form of the exercise, you might always consult your physician or your physical therapist, first of all. The McKenzie exercises have developed by a New Zealand physical therapist that has discovered that by doing the specific spine-lengthening exercises, you might reduce the pain, due to the lack of disk space.
